Fox Passes On Obama Address

Fox was the only major network not to air Obama's address on Wednesday night.

President Obama addressed Congress tonight, and all the major networks covered the speech except for Fox.

Every network pre-empted an hour of programming at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central Time to air the President's address, but Fox aired the season premiere of their hit reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" instead.

This is not the first time that the right-leaning network has skipped out on addresses by President Obama. In April, they were the only network to not air Obama's primetime press conference.

Fox aired the speech on its sister networks Fox News and Fox Business Network.

This is the second major address by President Obama this week. President Obama addressed America's school children on Tuesday, a move that was highly criticized by some vocal conservatives.

In his school speech, President Obama encouraged children to stay in school and pursue their own unique talents.
