Apple Approves Rhapsody for iPhone

Now you can now get a subscription-based music service for your iPhone.

Apple has recently approved Rhapsody to provide iPhone and iPod Touch users with their catalog of music downloads. According to CNET, Apple previously approved only Spotify, which was not available in the United States, to compete with iTunes.

The Rhapsody addition to the iPhone service family is so new you can't find it yet on the iTunes site, but you can find it here.

The iPhone application is reportedly easy to use. Users can search songs, genres, charts and build custom playlists.

The Rhapsody application is free to download but will cost $14.99 a month, two dollars more than a regular Rhapsody subscription.

Rhapsody is a digital music service that lets subscribers listen to music without paying per track. It can be used on PCs, web browsers, and portable listening devices.
