Clarkson shows her strong disapproval over West's MTV VMA outburst on her blog while Katy Perry and Pink express their opinions on Twitter

Kanye West's unprofessional interruption of Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night has quickly become the talk of the celebrity and entertainment world. RollingStone.com is reporting that musicians Kelly Clarkson, Pink and Katy Perry have all come out with statements that clearly illustrate their disapproval of West's actions.

Clarkson, who was nominated in the Best Female Video category that Swift ultimately won, showed her support for Swift while condemning West by saying, "The best part of this evening is that you weren't even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??"

Pink, who was another member of the Best Female Video category, reportedly attempted to approach West after he finished his instantaneously infamous interruption of Swift's acceptance speech but was ultimately prevented from doing so by security. Since she could not express her displeasure in person, she turned to her Twitter account, where she supported Swift after posting, "Kanye West is the biggest piece of ---- on earth. Quote me."

Katy Perry also turned to Twitter to express her opinion about the situation, where she wrote, "---- you Kanye, it's like you stepped on a kitten." Several celebrities, including John Mayer and Jordin Sparks have tweeted to support Swift in response to last night's incident.
