Kate Gosselin Guest Hosts "The View"

Kate Gosselin: single mother of 8, reality star, and now guest host on "The View."

Kate guest hosted on "The View" on Monday and talked about the difficulties of going through a divorce in the spotlight.

Between the regular hosts of "The View," Kate had some trouble breaking through and getting her voice heard, but when the topic turned to her divorce, the other women gave her a chance to talk.

Since their separation, Jon has been seen out and about with his new 22-year-old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, and the reality show dad hosted a pool party in Las Vegas last month.

Kate told the women of "The View" that seeing her husband with another woman while he is around their kids is not easy, but she insisted that she was "going to take the high road" for her children's sake.

When asked if she was considering quitting the show, Kate said she would continue the show for as long as possible.

"This is a job," Kate explained. "I'm a single mom and I need to be out there working on my job . . . I'm responsible now."
