Jay Leno Show Premieres with Kanye Performing
Jay Leno could be thanking his lucky stars. The comedian's premiering his new series, "The Jay Leno Show," tonight at 10 p.m. It's the first ever comedy variety show to air five nights a week in a prime-time spot. He may just get an even higher viewer turnout than already anticipated, thanks to Kanye West's stunt last night at the MTV Video Music Awards. It is well known by now that the R&B star interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video to tell the world that Beyonce's video was one of the best of all time.West was scheduled to perform on Leno's show months back, and the performance is still on. That means that Leno is basically the first interview opportunity with Kanye post-VMAs, although the artist has already apologized on his blog. Leno will most likely share a few minutes with the artist before he performs.
