Kanye West Apologizes to Taylor Swift Once Again on Leno Show

The artist/producer vows to take some time off to reflect on his rude actions at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Earlier tonight on the debut episode of "The Jay Leno Show" on NBC, recording artist and music producer Kanye West made a guest appearance and apologized for the third time today to Taylor Swift as a result of his controversial behavior at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. West plans to take some time off to sit back and reflect on his actions and how he is going to make it through the rest of his existence, according to the Associated Press.

During his appearance on Leno's new show, West mentioned that he would like to apologize to Swift in person even though he has already apologized twice on his blog earlier in the day. The hip-hop artist was slated to perform live but requested time before his performance to discuss his controversial interruption of Swift's award acceptance speech and express his sorrow over the situation.

West clarified the exact moment in which he realized that he was wrong during his interview with Leno. He said that he knew that he was wrong once he gave the microphone that he had snatched from Swift back to her. His apology was void of excuses as he appeared remorseful, saying, "It was rude, period."
