50 Cent Wishes he Could Have Blackened Kanye West's Eye at VMA's

Yet another prominent celebrity has stepped forward and condemned Kanye West for his inappropriate interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Hip-hop artist 50 Cent appeared on MuchOnDemand to conduct an interview and he provided extremely candid comments in regard to how he felt about West's VMA tirade.

When asked about his opinion over Kanye West's outburst, 50 Cent responded by saying, "We know Beyonce's great, there's nobody that's confused in that actual area. But Taylor Swift is great and is new. You can't replace [that moment] even with an apology. I wish he would come take one of my awards so I can black his eye in front of everybody."

Part of what makes 50 Cent's comments about West's unprofessional actions so intriguing is the fact that he performed a similar stunt back at the 2004 Grammy Awards when he complained about not being recipient of the Best New Artist award, which went to Evanescence. The most obvious disparity between the two incidents is that West wasn't lobbying to win the award himself since he was campaigning for Beyonce.

50 Cent and Kanye West were involved in a rivalry over album sales almost two years ago to the date. Back on September 11th, 2007, the two were engaged in a heated rivalry over which of their solo albums would sell more records. West's critically acclaimed "Graduation" album significantly sold more units than 50 Cent's "Curtis".
