Obama Thinks Kanye West's a "Jackass"
The speed of technology has gotten the best of our public figures, namely President Barack Obama.
Upon watching MTV's Video Music Awards this Sunday, the commander in chief called Kanye West a "jackass" for what he did to Taylor Swift when she went on stage to accept her award for Best Female Video, reports the LA Times. In the middle of the 19-year-old's speech, West jumped on stage and announced to the audience that, "Beyonce had the best video of all time."
The rapper had clearly ruined the moment for the new talented artist, and Obama commented on what kind of character he thought the rap musician displayed. During what was supposed to be an "off the record" segment of an interview with CNBC News, Obama was questioned about his opinion of the rude outburst. When he replied with the "jackass" comment, Terry Moran quickly tweeted about it to his thousands of followers, according to primebuzz.com.
Since the tweet, ABC has had to apologize to CNBC and the White House for broadcasting information "off record." There is no comment from the White House.
