Cyrus was nominated for an award but was unable to attend last Sunday's event due to getting ready for her upcoming tour. But she told the radio show on Monday that if it we're her she would have not let West steal her thunder that according to MTV.com, she said "I'd tell him to get off the stage that it was her moment and for those times you are able to make a speech you do it. It's disrespectful as an artist, and I know he even said his family would not be happy if someone did that to them."

Cyrus went on to claim in the interview that what West did was merely a publicity stunt. He did it to get attention, and that it did.

Since the incident, West has been the headline on and in many media outlets. He even went on the 'Jay Leno Show' on Monday to perform, and afterwards sat down and apologized publicly for it, he also apologized on his blog and twitter.

She went on to say that he wants this; he wants to be in the headlines. That the apologies he gave were not sincere rather just a part of the attention.

It's like they say, There is no such thing as bad press!
