Chris Brown in an Orange Vest
Chris Brown started his community labor Wednesday in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. The R&B singer was sentenced to 180 days of community labor for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna back in February. Brown posted pictures on his Web site showing him picking up trash in an orange safety vest monitored by police officers, according to MTV.com. In addition to the labor (which should include cleaning graffiti and washing police cars), Brown is also on five years' probation and one year of anger management and domestic violence counseling. He was also ordered to keep away from Rihanna for five years. The singer has found refuge in Twitter; he tweeted about his first day of labor today, and has also released photos of his crib in Virginia and a link to his new video, "Drop It Low." Brown has maintained a lower profile since his Larry King interview earlier this summer.
