Jon Gosselin Gives Family Dogs Back to Breeder

The looming divorce between reality show exes Jon and Kate Gosselin continues – Mr. Gosselin is giving their two German shepherds back to the breeder, E! News reports.

"It's not fair to the dogs to not be wanted in their own home," Gosselin said, claiming that his estranged wife refuses to care for the animals when it's her turn with the children at the couple's home.

Breeder Jeff Christopher agreed to take back siblings Shoka and Nala. "I've got them for an undetermined amount of time," he told RadarOnline.com. "There was no discussion of a time when Jon is going to pick them up. Nothing is final."

"Kate is an orderly kind of person," Christopher said. "She was never concerned about the dogs, she just wanted to train them, and so this time with the dogs gives me extra time to train them. They're at the perfect age for training, but they're family dogs so their training won't be that advanced."
