LeAnn Rimes in Another Car Accident

According to E! Online, the Los Angeles Police Department decided to drop criminal charges against country singer LeAnn Rimes in her alleged hit-and-run accident back on Aug. 21. Investigators believed her excuse. Rimes claimed she was unaware that she hit another car during her escape from the paparazzi.

However, ET Online reports another minor car accident involving LeAnn Rimes. She rear-ended a Mercedes in Santa Monica on Thursday, Sept. 17 trying to escape the paparazzi again. ET Online further explains, Rimes did not flee the scene this time, she reported the accident to the police, and she exchanged insurance information with the other driver.

People.com attributes LeAnn Rimes' current popularity with the paparazzi to her rocky love life. She split from husband Dean Sheremet to be with her "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian. Cibrian was also married, and decided to separate from his wife Brandi Glanville to be with Rimes. Rimes and Cibrian later went public with their new relationship fueling the media frenzy.
