Neil Patrick Harris: Emmy host, Emmy nominee, and now live performer at the Emmy's.
Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting the Emmy's tonight, but he will also be reprising his role as wanna-be super-villain Dr. Horrible.
Harris will be performing in a musical number based off of Joss Whedon's web hit "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."
Whedon won a Creative Arts Emmy last week for "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."
The three-part series follows Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris), a super-villain "with a P.H.D. in horribleness," and his attempts to get into the Evil League of Evil and win the love of his life, Penny (Felcia Day). He is thwarted by his arch nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion).
The Emmy's air tonight at 8:00/7:00 Central.
