Locklear returns home to Melrose Place:
Locklear returns to the remake of the drama that she made famous in the 90s.
On November 17, Heather Locklear makes her way back to a familiar place. She'll be reviving her character this fall as Amanda Woodward. Locklear will attempt to revitalize the show as she returns to the dramatic apartment complex on The CW. Many critics wonder if this attempt will be enough to boost a show fighting to increase ratings. While other shows on The CW network such as Vampire Diaries and 90210 are fairing well, "Melrose Place" is suffering to connect and register with audiences.
The show is filled with recognizable faces such as singer/songwriter Ashley Simpson, while Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, and Locklear are residents from the original show. The seductive apartment complex is also filled with a lot of eye candy to cater and appeal to all age groups, but it remains to be seen if this show can be just as addictive as its predecessor. "Melrose Place" airs on the CW network Tuesday at 8 pm eastern.
