Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Get Sued over Shootout
It aint easy being a paparazzo, just ask Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles who have been shot at by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen's security guards. The photographers had taken photos of the famous newlyweds' post wedding party back in April when the security guards had opened fire at the photographers' vehicle with them inside, nearly killing them.
The photographers, along with News Agence France Presse, filed suit against Brady and Bundchen in New York on Tues. for "negligence and carelessness," according to Reuters.
Brady and Bundchen were partying it up at Bundchen's vacation home in Costa Rica when the incident happened. The photographers were just doing their jobs and taking pictures of the event. The security guards approached the photographers and demanded their cameras and memory cards. When the two refused to comply with the guards' orders, things escalated to the point where guns were involved and lives were in danger.
The bullets flew through the vehicle's rear window and ricocheted into the driver's seat, nearly missing the paparazzi inside. The two photographers suffered no more than a shattered windshield but they claim that Brady and Bundchen should be responsible for their medical care, physical therapy and other treatments, according to the lawsuit.
