Fashion Police Patrol the Emmys

Viewers and celebrities alike understand that the Emmys are as much about what you won as who you are wearing.

This year Jay Manuel, Giuliana Rancic and Khloe Kardashian hosted the "2009 Emmys Fashion Police," as seen on E!, providing a style-conscious overlook of the event's best dresses, hot messes and everything in between.

"Red, White and Nude"

Jay: "Blake knocked my socks off."
Khloe: "I do not think so, I hate her hair style, I think it's so elementary."
Giuliana: "I thought she looked fantastic, I really did. I liked the hair style, I think it keeps it young, because she is young."

Jay: "I think it's very beautiful on Hayden, I think she knows how to look good, but I would expect this on someone in their thirties or early forties."
Khloe: "I think she is beautiful, but I do agree with you, I don't think that dress is for her."
Giuliana: "I thought it was one of her worst looks ever, I thought it looked way too old."

Jay: "This dress is gorgeous, but Debra, you are my fashion icon, you hit the carpet looking too safe."
Khloe: "I like the dress on its own, do not like it on her at all."
Giuliana: "I felt like I could find this dress in a department store." (Jay gasps). "This year she dropped the ball."

Jay: "This is the way to do a safe dress with a little bit of edge. I like the back detail. She stands out. It works."
Khloe: "I don't love it, I don't hate it. I don't think about it after I see her."
Giuliana: "There's no piece of jewelry that really makes it pop, especially considering the simplicity of this dress." (Jay: "The shoe?")

Jay: "I hate to do this, Leighton; you're going to have to be a worst dressed nominee for me."
Khloe: "She did not do it for me, I think she's stunning, but the clouds or Q-tips or whatever you want to call them, I do not love that."
Giuliana: "She's beautiful, that just doesn't do it for me."

Best Dressed Guy: Jon Hamm

Jay: "I love the wide-peak lapel. He looked good, it looked sharp on him."
Khloe: "He's handsome, the tux looks great on him, he was the best dressed of the night, hands down."
Giuliana: "To die for hot." (Jay: "You're looking at the man, not the clothes.")

Best Dressed Female: January Jones

Jay: "I mean is there anybody else? Honestly. Versace, mint green, couture, work of art, she owned this dress."
Khloe: "Red carpet worthy. I love that look. She looks amazing."
Giuliana: "All you women out there watching who are on the red carpet take a lesson from January Jones, she looks unbelievable."

"So you think you can dress"

Worst Dressed Male: Justin Timberlake

Jay: "You know what? When you've got a suit that's too big, a white tie and you're looking a little bit like a pimp, you're going to be called out."
Khloe: "He looks awful."
Giuliana: "He needs a tan."

Worst Dressed Female: Sarah Silverman

Jay: "…Does anybody not get this…because I don't."
Khloe: (speechless)
Giuliana: "We love you, but it didn't work this year."
