Heidi Montag To Guest Host "The View"

On Oct. 1 "The View" will have Heidi Montag as a guest-host. Montag is part of a long list of guest hosts filling in Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is on maternity leave.

In recent weeks celebrities such as LaToya Jackson, Meghan McCain and Kate Gosselin have filled in for Hasselbeck.

Montag is a shoe-in replacement because she shares right-wing views like Hasselbeck and may also be an easy target for the regular hosts.

"The Hills" star has previously been on the "The View" as a guest with her husband, Spencer Pratt.
