Thinner Rush Limbaugh Talks Economy with Jay Leno
A thinner Rush Limbaugh appeared on "The Jay Leno Show" tonight spitting fire and slamming the Obama administration.
When Limbaugh first walked out on stage, Leno was surprised at how much weight the right-wing talk show host had lost and jokingly asked if the weight gain came from "liberal portions."
Soon, however, they skipped past the small talk and jumped right into politics.
Leno hinted at the controversy surrounding Limbaugh, and Limbaugh said that Leno is the sort of guy who wants everyone to get along.
Limbaugh rejected the notion that everyone could get along, chuckling, "You want us to get along? Fine, then you can give up everything you believe."
They talked about the economy and specifically about the auto industry. Leno defended the government's decision, saying that jobs were saved, but Limbaugh argued back that the government should have more faith in the free market.
Leno claimed that the gap between the rich and poor has widened and pointed out that some people are getting a bigger piece of the "pie."
Limbaugh fought back, saying that the economy creates more "pie" and that it is not any of Leno's business how much money some people make.
When asked who he would like to see as president, Limbaugh replied, "Me! ...But see, I don't want the pay cut."
