Conan O'Brien Will Return to Work Monday

A concussion won't slow down the king of late night any. He is expected to return to the show Monday after resting at a hospital in

"Conan is resting comfortably at home. He is expected to return to work on Monday, NBC spokesperson said in a statement posted by WPIX .

According to Epoch Times, O'Brien, 46, was filming a sketch with "Desperate Housewives'" Terri Hatcher when he received the concussion. They speculate that he fell down a stairwell and hit his head.

The injury stoped production of the show and NBC aired a rerun with celebrity guest Jeremy Piven.

The fair-haired comic keeps joking despite his injury.

"Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," O'Brien joked in a statement.
