Emmy Rossum's Husband Files for Divorce

Emmy Rossum and husband Justin Siegel are getting a not-so-secret divorce after their secret wedding over a year ago.

Almost two months after it was discovered that Emmy Rossum had been secretly married, her husband, music executive Justin Siegel is filing for divorce. The exact date of their wedding was previously unknown, but Siegel's divorce petition states that he and the Phantom of the Opera star tied the knot Feb. 17, 2008. So after over a year-and-a-half of marriage, the story ends in divorce.

The couple began dating in 2007 but never announced plans to wed, instead opting for a confidential marriage license. It wasn't until August, when the pair split, that their secret marriage was reported.

Siegel cites irreconcilable differences and seeks spousal support from Rossum, 23, according to the Sept. 25 filing in Los Angeles Superior Court. The couple had no children.

Rossum recently has been romantically linked with Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz, 45. Over Labor Day weekend in a New York restaurant, they "were sitting side by side, kissing throughout dinner," a source told People Magazine.
