Heidi Montag to Guest Host on -The View-

When Heidi and Spencer aren't Living la Twittered Life, Ms. Montag is setting her blonde ambitions as a guest-host on 'The View.'

Montag will be filling in while regular host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is away on maternity leave during the October 1st show.

Recent seat-fillers for Hasselbeck included reality mom Kate Gosselin and La Toya Jackson while returning stand-ins include former 'View' host Lisa Ling and "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt last made an appearance on the show in June."I've enjoyed each time Spencer and I have been on 'The View' as guests. It will be exciting seeing it from the other side," Montag told MTV News. "I've always admired Elisabeth, and hopefully I'll be able to provide plenty of my own views while filling in for her."

Until then, tonight is premiere night for 'The Hills' as fans eagerly wait to see if the show can hold up with the exit of Lauren Conrad. Audrina Patridge is also ready to develop her own reality drama with "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett, and Stephanie Pratt is leaving after 10 episodes.
