America's Next Top Model - Take My Photo, Tyra!

(Season 13 Episode 5) Kara returns to the house excited about being on the top. Brittany unfortunately is on the bottom and is nervous and never wants to be there. Ashley gets a letter from Lulu to boost her confidence. She has no modeling experience but wants to do her best. Bianca finally had a breakthrough last week and started to soften her face.

A Tyra Mail sends the girls off to a studio, and the girls are introduced to Sam Fine. He is there to teach the girls how to do their own makeup quickly. He teaches the girls the smoky eye. He reminds the girls that they only need four items to succeed: Concealer, Bronzer, Mascara, and Gloss.

The girls arrive at Wal-Mart to meet with Nigel Barker and his wife Chrissy Barker. Chrissy announces the One Stop Shop Cover Girl Challenge, where they have to race around Wal-Mart to make a perfect Go See look. Chrissy reminds the girls that Go Sees are about accentuation of their figures. There are four departments: clothes, shoes, makeup, and the photo bin finish line. There is a catch: there are less items at each station so only the first three girls will make it to judging. The prize is a photo on the Cover Girl Wal-Mart web-page and a $1000 Wal-Mart gift card.

Nigel tells the girls go, and the girls run quickly to the clothing station. Laura and Kara are eliminated first. The girls start running to the shoes station and Erin pulls at Sundai's arm while they run down the aisle. She starts pushing her way. Nicole and Jennifer are eliminated in round two. Brittany was the last girl to get her shoes on, and she and Rae were eliminated.

The remaining girls had three minutes to do their makeup. The girls push their ways to the mirror, then run to their photos but quickly run past them. Erin finds the photos first and finds Ashley's photo. She decides to hold on to Ashley's until she found her own. After she did, she threw Ashley's photo on the ground.

The final three are Sundai, Erin, and Bianca. After some critiques, the winner was Sundai because of her cheeks. Back at home Ashley was upset that Erin was playing dirty. Sundai explained that she tossed the photo. The two complain about how Erin was all for herself during the challenge.

The girls get another Tyra mail about covering their heads. They are driven to their photoshoot, but Ashley continues to complain about the scratches. Erin gets upset about the complaints and breaks down to tears. She can't help that they are competing.

The girls walk to a wrapped figure. Laura unravels it revealing Tyra. She announces that she's the photographer tonight. Jay Manuel explains that today's shoot is about beauty shots. This area is amazing for petite models because it focuses on their faces and not their height. The theme of the shot is a scarf shoot. The girl with the strongest photo will be picked during the shoots and will be safe. There will also be an extra prize announced afterwards.

The girls are given their evaluations and sent to hair and makeup. Laura is first and she sits on the perch first. Tyra reminds her to shoot from head to toe even if it is a headshot. Her lip becomes a problem, but they turned on the wind and she rocked it out. Sundai has a standing shot and is a little boring, Tyra suggests relaxing her lips. Jennifer is next and is laying on the ground. She starts to get porn-esque. She wants to do angry screams, but it also comes off porn-like. Brittany walks in with a scarf over her face barely being able to see. She manages to pose fiercely through the silk.

Bianca walks in and remembers to think of Jesus to soften her face. Tyra reminds her to soften her eyes a little bit. She has the ability to angle her body but her face is too tense. Rae used her daughter to create an angelic photo. Kara's face is original, but she doesn't do much to her face. Erin starts off playing with angry and contorts her body. She just lacks in personality. Nicole has talent in modeling, but her hands look like claws. Ashley lies on the floor but her outfit didn't look right. They changed her head wrap and they try again. It still frustrates Tyra and she thinks that it is Ashley that is the problem. They decide to put the scarf over her face. Tyra thinks she finally got the shot after all the changes.

Tyra announces the winner of the photoshoot is Brittany. She gets a prize: a photoshoot for TyraBanks.com with two male models that she discovered. They take the photos in front of the jealous girls.

The girls get the letter reminding them that eliminations are soon. Bianca thinks that even though she's been in the bottom, she thinks she did fine. Ashley is worried that the multiple dress changes doesn't mean she's going home.

The girls arrive at judging and the guest judge is China Chow, a 5'3 supermodel. Brittany is first and she's the winner. She's given her photo. Erin is next, and China thinks that the photo is stunning. Tyra reminds her to open her mouth and talk to the photographer. Kara's shot has a deadness in her eyes.

Ashley walks in a fashion disaster and the judges make her remove her vest. Her photo is missing "smize." Ashley is worried about the changes. Tyra explains that it's sometimes that the idea was changed, but sometimes it was the model that was selling the dress short. Laura walks in with her grandmother's outfit. Laura's shot is reminiscent of a Renaissance shot. Tyra points out that the wind helped her out. Bianca's shot is a strong wide shot. Her eyes look like they have strain.

Rae's shot is both strong and soft. Nicole's shot is beautiful and she is living the fashion. The body is contorted right, but her angles seem to be a lot of the same. Sundai is next and her photo is simple but sophisticated. Jennifer's shot is considered the best shot by Nigel. Tyra likes how she brought personality to the photoshoot.

Top Models in Action - Samantha (Cycle 8) - Since her time on the show, Samantha turned into a sophisticated model who had a good career in Asia and is now in New York City.

The judges deliberate and agree that Kara's shot is vacant. Erin's shot works, even though it's bizarre. Nigel reminds the panel that she's a little too competitive. Ashley doesn't know how to love the camera. Nicole's body contorts well and the photo is good. Laura has a womanly nature and her happy nature is good. Nigel is fed up with Bianca. Tyra likes how she works the body though. Sundai has a beautiful photo. China loves Rae's photo. Jennifer's photo is one of the strongest in the group.

Brittany is already the winner, so Tyra continues with the names. The runner up is Jennifer. She is followed by Rae, Nicole, Erin, Laura, Sundai, and Kara. The bottom two are Ashley and Bianca. Bianca's problem is that she can't translate her softness to camera yet. Ashley's problem was that it was so hard to shoot her. If Tyra told her the truth, it may have broken her. She was the hardest to shoot. Tyra saves Ashley, and Bianca is sent home. Bianca wished that she could show the softer side, but she put her best foot forward.
