Jessica Lowndes Talks '90210' and Singing Career
In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jessica Lowndes, who plays Adrianna in "90210," talked about her role on the show, and her interest in a singing career.
This season her character wanted to be named "no drama Adrianna" after experiencing drug addiction and pregnancy last season. This, Lowndes reveals, is not going to last long. Adrianna will be going back to the drama, and it's not surprising considering how so far she may already be involved in a love triangle.
The actress originally signed up for two or three episodes on the show, she said, and is still "pinching" herself about the role she was given. This is the 21-year-old's actress first big break and said she feels "fortunate" to have a character that deals with "pressing issues in society."
"It's absolutely amazing," Lowndes said. "I'm happy."
Something not many people know is that Lowndes is also interested in a signing career. She said she put it aside to concentrate on her acting career, but is something she will continue to pursue.
"But I miss it, and I've definitely been in the studio, working hard," she said.
Some of her music will be featured on the show this year and by next year she said she wants "some songs out that can be on the show, as well, or kind of do my own thing."
A singing career is definitely the next step, she said.
