James Franco Joins Soap Opera
The "Pineapple Express" star is set to join the cast of General Hospital.
James Franco must be a huge General Hospital fan. According to Soap.net, Franco was the one who approached them with the idea of joining the cast.
The accomplished movie star is expected to work with the ABC soap opera for two months. During that time he will be playing a "mysterious" character that will "make Jason's life a living hell."
"We are thrilled to announce that James Franco will play an integral part in a lengthy run on General Hospital this fall. It's an honor that an actor of James' caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles," General Hospital's executive producer Jill Farren Phelps said in a statement.
Franco is said to make his appearance November 20.
