The Michael Bay /Megan Fox publicity machine will keep on rollin' as Transformer 3 has confirmed a release date of July 1, 2011. Yes. They will be working together again. Hollywood dreams do come true. Open letter campaigns be damned. Seems when your box office receipts for two films tally over $1.5 billion worldwide you let bygones be bygones.
Steven Spielberg will executive produce for the third year and Shia LaBeouf will reprise his starring role.
Bay took to his website to inform fans of his meeting at ILM in San Francisco before flying out to Rhode Island with writer Ehren Kruger for a meeting with the Hasbro people to discuss new characters.
No word on whether Ms. Fox has signed on for Jennifer's Body 2.
