Real Housewives Welcomes D.C.
Bravo must be thanking their lucky stars they invented the "Real Housewives" franchise. The success of all seasons (Orange County, Atlanta and New Jersey) led to the green light for yet another region, "Real Housewives of D.C."
The "Housewives" installments are known for their enhanced female altercations. Loyalties form, friends betray and often confront, and hardships are expressed in an almost comical drama. Yet with all the gossiping and name-calling, Washington D.C. may be the environment in which our housewives might make more attempts at civility.
Politics of course dominate D.C.'s environment, and while the women featured are always of favorable means, the wives of D.C. may actually be women of legislative importance. We may actually see "old money", although the producers probably don't bet on featuring relatives of the Kennedy's.
But Bravo always delivers the backstabbing drama, and perhaps our ladies of D.C. will be no different, except perhaps, less fake boobs.
