'Photo Miami' 2009 to hit Florida this December

If you're anticipating going on vacation this season to escape the New York frost, why not buy a plane ticket to Florida this December and experience Photo Miami?

New York resident and art curator Isolde Brielmaier, will be co-curating photo Miami's fourth year of innovative photography, video and new media exhibits with Charles Guice and Brookie Maxwell in the Wynwood arts district from December 1st-December 6th.

Amid palm trees and artistic flair, this years art show will showcase hundreds of internationally noted art galleries and exhibits during the renowned art show, Art Basel Miami.

"Everyone's a buzz about Art Basel," says Brielmaier. "No one knows what to think or expect this year and I think people are a little nervous, but I also think it's exciting."

According to Brielmaier, who also serves as a consultant for Krug Champagne and Versace, Photo Miami is expected to live up to the art fair's theme "The year of magical thinking."

"The economic and social climate that we're in this year [has] really forced people to be a little more open and really think outside the box," Brielmaier claims.

From the United States to Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia, thousands of artists like Yutaka Aoki, Melli Ink and Gavin Turk, will flock to midtown Miami to experience creativity at its best.
