American Music Awards love Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift receives more AMA nominations than any other artist.
It looks as though Taylor Swift will be taking the American Music Awards by storm, receiving more nominations than anyone else this year, and creating new found popularity for an unlikely genre.
In fact, Swift, a face for country music, has been nominated for six awards, more nominations than she has received for any one show according to the Associated Press. She has surpassed even the most popular of musicians, including Michael Jackson, nominated for five, and Eminem, nominated for four.
Swift's nominations include artist of the year, favorite female pop and country artists, favorite pop and country album for "Fearless," and favorite adult contemporary artist.
The show will air on Nov. 22, the winners determined through fan voting.
