Madonna Faces Noise Complaint
Madonna's neighbor sues complaining of loud noise.
In the heart of Manhattan lives one of the world's most famous pop stars, Madonna, who not only lives but practices and rehearses her music into the night. But the stream of loud music constantly streaming from the star's home has left her neighbor's angry.
Karen George, 51, who lives directly above Madonna,sued the co-ops board of directors and the Midboro Management Company after finding herself forced out of her home every time Madonna rehearses.
"Madonna and one or more of her invited guests repeatedly dance and/or train in apartment 7A to unreasonable high decibel amplified music, causing noise and vibration to pour through the walls," said the lawsuit, filed on Friday in New York State Supreme Court.
