Adam Lambert Confirms Collaboration with Lady Gaga

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert confirmed his Lady Gaga collaboration via Twitter on Tuesday. "Yes it's true: I spent yesterday in the studio w the insanely talented and creative Lady Gaga recording a song that she wrote! I love her," he tweeted.

"Gaga wrote the song a while ago, and she thought it would be a good fit for me," he went on to say. "It's a solo track. I feel so honored and lucky to be asked...Gaga just gets it, ya know?"

Ever since Lady Gaga appeared on an episode of "American Idol" this spring, fans have been hoping and begging for the two to team up. News of a Gaga-Lambert partnership had been doing the rounds lately, but just last week Lambert dismissed rumors that he would be joining Gaga on her Monster Ball Tour. Rumors were further fueled on Monday when songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham tweeted that she'd seen the two artists working together at a recording studio.

Lambert's rep has not yet confirmed if the song, whose title has not been revealed, will be included on his upcoming debut album, "For Your Entertainment," out for sale Nov. 23.
