Ridley Scott is in talks with Angelina Jolie for starting role in movie “Gucci“
Angelina Jolie may soon act in another strong-woman leading role as director Ridley Scott approached her for the movie “Gucci.”
Angelina Jolie has been offered the leading role for the movie Gucci by director Ridley Scott. The movie to be directed by Scott will tell the story of the Maurizio Gucci’s, grandson to Guccio Gucci, fashion empire and family leading up to Gucci’s murder by a hit man, according to MTV.
If Jolie accepts the role she will play the ex-wife Patrizia Reggiano who hires a hit man and kills Gucci.
Jolie’s presence in camera may prove to be problem with hiring the male lead part, since options such as Leonardo DiCaprio who Scott has been mulling over may show to be an ill-fit for her, said Scott in an interview with Vanity.
The movie and script are still in development and the movie is hoped to start production next year.
