Taylor Swift's first tour dates sold out within minutes
Taylor Swift first tour dates has sold out in a matter of minutes, ET.com reported. Swift's 2010 tour tickets went on sale today and already the first 15 tour dates have sold out. The tour will consist of 37 shows in the U.S. and Canada and seven in Australia to begin on February. Tickets for the four concerts on the New York area were sold out within two minutes of going on sale, said her representative, which is not surprising since the "Fearless" album has been atop of the billboard music charts for 24 weeks.
Swift, 19, is the youngest person to be selected for the CMA's Entertainer of the Year Award, which celebrates country singers. Past CMA winners include Dolly Parton, The Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw and Johnny Cash.
The tour is set to end with a performance on June 2 in Washington D.C. at the Verizon Center.
