$28,500 Down, $152,000 To Go?
Kate Gosselin is still waiting for ex-husband Jon Gosselin to return the $180,000 he withdrew from the couple's joint account. Kate herself has obeyed with a court order to itemize what she spent from the account, says her divorce attorney Mark Momjian, according to reports made by People Magazine.
The 32-year-old reality star must repay the money or appear before the judge for a contempt proceeding by the couple's next hearing date on Oct. 26. Earlier Friday, Jon's New York attorney Mark Heller, told People Magazine that Jon was in "complete compliance" with a court order telling him to return all of the money he took from the couple's joint account.
Kate Gosselin, 34, was also ordered to show accounting of her past expenses by the same date. Her ex previously claimed she had taken more than $60,000 of her own from the same account.
According to TMZ.com, the withdrawal of the large sum was in violation of an arbitrator's order as the Gosselin's took the preliminary steps toward divorce.
So far, Kate Gosselin's lawyers report only $28,500 has been returned.
