Teen Crime Ring Responsible for Hollywood Burglaries

A group of teens from California were arrested in connection to the recent break-ins at the homes of Hollywood stars.

Nicholas Prugo, the teen arrested and charged for the Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge burglaries, was not working alone.

Four other teens, and one adult, were arrested on Thursday for suspected involvement with the break-ins that have occurred recently, reports PEOPLE.

Rachel Lee, 19, Diana Tamayo, 19, Courtney Ames, 18, Alexis Neiers, 18, and Roy Lopez, Jr., 27 were caught and arrested by police through a sting operation on Thursday. The alleged thieves live in Calabasas, a wealthy area in California.

The group is thought to have been involved in crimes of theft for close to a year. In order to carry out their operations, they located homes using Hollywood star maps and determined when stars would not be home by studying their appearance schedules, a source told PEOPLE. Thousands of dollars worth of pricey items, ranging from clothes to jewelry to bags, have been taken from well-known Hollywood stars Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and Orlando Bloom.

One of the teens was set to be famous before this scandal even arose. Neiers, whose sister is Playboy model Tess Taylor, will soon be appearing on E!, reports Access Hollywood.

"The Arlington Family, including Alexis Neirs, are the subject of a pilot for E!" representatives confirmed to Access. "Shooting began several days ago and will continue for the next few weeks. We are concerned by recent events, awaiting further details and will be monitoring the situation closely."

No charges have been made against any members of the group in connection to the break-ins at the homes of Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere, or Kourtney Kardashian.
