Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Come to Yet Another Store Near You
The moneymaking twins are at it again. Fashionistas Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will be launching a fashion line at 500 J.C. Penny stores in February.
The line, Olsenboye, will feature casual sportswear and accessories, including tops, dresses, handbags and shoes, priced from $20 to $50. Sizes will range from zero to 15.
"It's very fun, fashion driven, trendy and wholesome at the same time," Liz Sweney, Penney's executive vice president and general merchandise manager of women's, told WWD .
The duo of Full House fame is no stranger to fashion and mass marketing. They've been selling makeup, clothing and furniture in other mass chain stores, like Wal-Mart for years. The 23-year-old moguls have also become members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, according to an article at MTV's Web site.
It seems like J.C. Penny's has high expectations of the Olsen's fashion sense.
