Scarlett Johansson will make her debut in Broadway play “A View from the Bridge.“
Scarlett Johansson will join the ranks of many actresses before her as she makes her Broadway debut in a new version of playwright Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge," according to Reuters.
The play, set in the 1950s, tells the story of a Brooklyn dockyard worker who has an obsession with his 17-year-old niece, played by Johansson. Liev Schreiber, already a renowned name in Broadway, will play the dockyard worker.
Johansson, 24, is recognized for her appearances in "Match Point" and "Lost in Translation." But she sings too. This year, she recorded an album, working her way towards her Broadway appearance.
