Ricky Gervais To Host 67th Golden Globes
Co-creator and star of the original 'Office,' Ricky Gervais, will host this year's Golden Globes.
For the first time since 1995, the Golden Globes has announced they will be having an official host for this year's ceremony. According to the LA Times, British comedian Ricky Gervais, co-creator and star of the original UK version of The Office, will be the host of the 67th annual Golden Globes. Hopefully, adding such a talented and funny host will help give the awards show some energy as well as garner NBC higher ratings.
The Golden Globes award the year's best movies and television shows. The winners are chosen by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The nominees will be announced December 15 and the awards ceremony will air January 17.
