Lindsay Lohan Gets a Lecture From Her Father and the Media
Lindsay is now admitting how aware she is of the public's opinion of her, which isn't a very high one. Hollywood Crush describes a few highlights from The Times' interview with the Mean Girls actress, the most memorable being how incredibly thin she has become, her aged and wrinkled face and her hoarse, cigarette-induced voice.
What's even more disheartening than her public image are the thoughts of her father, Michael Lohan. He says in the New York Daily News that he suspects his daughter "could be dead in a year." He encouraged the option of "long-time" rehab because of her continued misuse of prescription drugs along with her abuse of alcohol.
However, as Lohan's father voices his concerns in public, Lindsay wants none of it. She argues, "It's so sad that he needs to stay in the media spotlight by using my name and making up excessive lies."
