Miley Cyrus is Voted Worst Influence
According to an internet poll of 44,594 people, Miley Cyrus is 2009's worst celebrity influence chosen by 42% of voters.
The poll taken by AOL's JSYK "Just So You Know" Website, named Cyrus, 16, as the worst influence for teenagers topping Britney Spears, Kanye West, Shia LeBeouf and Vanessa Hudgens.
In the past years the Disney channel star has posted semi-nude pictures of herself on internet social networks, and had a very controversial photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz in which she was shirtless and wrapped with bed sheets. Most recently Cyrus performed "Party in the U.S.A" at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards while dancing alongside a stripper pole with very short pants, which caused headlines sensations and most likely the big boost in votes at the Web poll.
Following second on the list was Britney Spears, whom for some time now has been out of news media attention after her very public break-down which began in 2006 and ended in 2008.
