Twilight Back in Theaters Day Before "New Moon"
Thursday, November 19 is the day Summit Entertainment has decided to re-lease the box office vampire saga Twilight for one day only. The 2,000 theater limited engagement comes on the heels of sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon opening for wide release the following day.
This is the second time Summit has unleashed Twilight for a 24-hour period. The one-night-only release happened in July during the Comic Con Convention in San Diego back when the studio was featuring exclusive footage of New Moon.
To date Twilight has earned $191.5 million domestically and $383.7 million worldwide while the year old film remains a steadfast favorite with bloodthirsty fans.
"Despite the first film already being on DVD, fans across the nation have been calling out to see the film once again on the big screen, and the studio is honoring their request," Summit told the Hollywood Reporter
Summit wrote on their website Twilight tickets would be sold at a discount in select area.
