Atlanta Housewives Stay Calm For Reunion
For a show that featured aggressive hair pulling and chokeholds, the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special was surprisingly calm.
Kim, Lisa, Sheree, NeNe, and Kandi sat down with Andy Cohen to reflect on the season and answer questions for Part 1 of the reunion that aired Thursday night.
Fans may have been expecting Kim and NeNe to duke it out some more, or for Sheree and Lisa to squabble over clothing lines, but all these ladies only provided a few eye rolls and petty comments.
Kim and Nene said that they have now settled their differences. According to them, the entire fight started with a rumor spread by other Housewives Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, and Tamra Barney, reports People.
Cohen repeatedly tried in vain to inspire the two usually volatile women to go at each other, but neither took the bait.
The show may have been lacking in angry feelings, but there were some tender moments.
Kandi teared up when A.J. was mentioned, but Kim consoled her friend. The usually boisterous NeNe was tight-lipped about her paternity issues and seemed to be fighting back emotions when asked about the issue.
Big Poppa made an appearance during a commercial break, but was not shown on camera. Cohen asked Kim if Big Poppa was still supporting her, but she gave a decidedly ambiguous answer.
"Mmmn, not really, I mean, not really," she answered, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Part 2 of the reunion, which airs next week, will feature Kim singing "Tardy for the Party."
