Mary J. Blige To Open Women's Center
superstar Mary J. Blige will be opening a women's center in Yonkers, N.Y.
Mary J. Blige is continuing her philanthropic efforts opening the Mary J. Blige center for women in Yonkers, N.Y. According to one source:
" the new center will serve as a "one-stop shop" for women, making resources more accessible and more customized than they are now and allowing women it serves to gain access to services from which they would not otherwise benefit. The serves offered directly at the Center will initially fall primarily into three categories: education, parenting skills, and career training."
In September, Mary J. Blige was awarded the "Positively Beautiful" award during the Health & Beauty America Global Expo for her work with Steve Stoute's FFawn Foundation.' Mary's 'Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now' promotes educational programs, career development, self-esteem and personal growth in women.It's likely Mary J. Blige's new women's center will provide much of the same support for the advancement of women.
