Elton John Sidelined with E.Coli and Flu

Three Billy Joel/Elton John concerts have been postponed because John is sick.
Fans in Seattle and Portland won’t be feeling the love this week. Singer Elton John was forced to cancel three concerts because he fell ill. According to his website, John is suffering from “a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection and influenza.” The 62-year-old “Rocket Man” singer has been co-headlining with “Piano Man” Billy Joel in their “Face 2 Face” arena tour.
The tour was scheduled to hit Seattle’s Key Arena on Nov. 4, and Nov. 7, followed by Portland’s Garden Arena on Nov. 10. All fans are asked to hold onto their tickets until another date has been scheduled.
This is not the first time “Face 2 Face” has been hit with illness. The tour also halted in July when Joel had “flu-like symptoms.”
