The cast of the television hit series “Glee“ will be honored for their show’s diversity.
It seems as if America has fallen in love with the mix-matched group of singing teens in Fox’s new series “Glee.” Fox’s oddballs will receive the 2009 Favorite New Television Cast Ensemble Award on Nov. 22, according to Reuters.
"The bunch are determined to overcome the odds and make it to the big time both in high school and the world beyond," the Diversity Awards executive committee said in a statement.

The Diversity Awards, which are presented annually by the Multicultural Motion Picture Association to promote diversity in story lines and characters and actors of all backgrounds in Hollywood, will take place in Beverly Hills.
The event will also honor NBC's "Parks and Recreation" as Favorite New Comedy Ensemble; CBS' "NCSI: Los Angeles" as Favorite New Television Action Drama; and ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights" as Favorite Family Drama Ensemble Cast.
