The bloodcurdling board game Ouija to be adapted to the big screen.
Always say goodbye

Halloween may have pasted, but no way has that holiday spirit left Hollywood in November. It has been reported Ouija, an adaption-in-the making has locked down some high-profile writing talents.
In February, Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller discussed the film and said “we’ve got a very high-level writer to write that, and we start writing it, I think, within the month,” according to Newsinfilm.com.
Universal has hired Tron Legacy and “Lost” writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz to ink out the screenplay, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
The movie is expected to be a supernatural adventure, full of elements from the board game.
“It is possible that certain rules of the game — never use it alone, never use it in a graveyard, always say goodbye — figure into the plot,” the “The Hollywood Reporter” teased.
William Fuld invented the game in the 1890s. Ouija boards are allegedly used as a communication bridge between the living and spiritual worlds. A group of friends hold a pointer, which looks like a looking glass, over the board and spirits move the pointer to spell out certain words and sentences.
