Adam Lambert and Drake LaBry recently split due to Lambert’s busy schedule.
“American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert is now single, but not necessarily looking for love.
JustJared.com first reported on Saturday that Lambert had separated from interior designer boyfriend Drake LaBry. Sources exclusively explained the details behind the split to JustJared.
“The relationship just ran its course,” the insider said. “The break-up was mutual and amicable. They remain friends and still care for each other.
On Sunday, Usmagazine.com confirmed the story based on confirmation from sources. Those leaking the information also offered the reasons for the break-up.
“Adam is crazy busy right now getting the album done and squeezing in rehearsals,” the source told Us. “They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit.
Lambert’s debut CD, “For Your Entertainment,” hits stores on November 23.
The singer first made his homosexuality public in an interview with Rolling Stone in June. Soon after this, Lambert and LaBry were seen together in public acting as a couple.
