Gordon Ramsay on New Fox Reality Series "Master Chef"
Gordon Ramsay is set to co-produce and star in the Fox production of "Master Chef," The Hollywood Reporter announced.
The show is based on the a U.K version popular in Australia, where non-professional cooks compete creating dishes, either individually or in teams, for a panel of judges.
A premiere for the show has yet to be set.
Fox has already given Chef Ramsey two other shows on the network; "Hell's Kitchen," and "Kitchen Nightmares." The network also has a special coming up with Ramsay called "Cook Along."
"Hell's Kitchen" is the Fox network's most popular series after "American Idol."
The details for the new series "Master Chef" are still being shaped but is expected to resemble the Australian edition, in which home cooks prepare a dish for the judges who decide whether they get a spot on the semi-finals, and later contestants compete in challenges every week until one final winner remains.
