The Cleveland Browns have fired general manager George Kokinis, reports thePhiladelphia Daily News. Kokinis, who was brought in to be the general manager by Browns head coach Eric Mangini, have floundered this season, going 1-7 to start the first half, including Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Chicago Bears.
It remains uncertain as to who Kokinis' replacement will be, but one name that can be crossed off the list is former New York Giants, Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns general manager Ernie Arrcorsi, states USA Today. Arrcorsi says he has no interest in becoming a full-time general manager again.
