Seacrest’s Stalker Situation Relieved

Army Reserves apologizes on behalf of odd Seacrest stalker

American Idol host and radio personnel, Ryan Seacrest, was recently stalked by an Army Reserves sergeant. Chidi Uzomah Jr., a 25-year-old sergeant serving under the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion was taken into custody after being found in possession of a knife while looking for Seacrest in the E! offices.

If you don’t think this story can grow any more bizarre, it does.

Uzomah was previously on probation for attacking Seacrest’s bodyguard after he was refused a meeting with the bubbly radio host back in September.

Army spokesman Lt. Col. Nathan Banks issued a statement to TMZ. "We apologize to Ryan Seacrest,” he said. “Pending the outcome of the local investigation, the Army will decide what further action to take. We take all matters of our personnel seriously."

Uzomah is facing Army Discipline a 3-year-restraining order from Seacrest himself. Seacrest says his personal safety has been “jeopardized” as a result of Uzomah’s peculiar and creepy behavior.
