Rihanna plans to help young women
Rihanna wants to put her unfortunate experience with Chris Brown to use and help others involved in abusive relationships.
Rihanna is bouncing back from her abusive relationship with Chris Brown and hopes to turn it into something positive.
The Associated Press reported that the singer has had a hard time dealing with the media frenzy that resulted from leaked pictures of her bruised face back in February after an altercation with her now ex-boyfriend. After pleading guilty, Brown was sentenced to five years' probation, six months of community service, and a year of domestic violence counseling.
Now Rihanna wants to speak for young women and domestic violence. In a quote from the AP article, she said, "Domestic violence is a big secret. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that."
